Native of Americus, GA, Eric Cannon is a passionate advocate for the well-being and development of disadvantaged. He has dedicated his life to providing the kind of support and resources he wished he had access to during his own challenging youth.
Growing up, Eric navigated a complex landscape of various centers, day programs, and counseling services that, in his view, fell short of addressing his unique needs. Despite facing numerous setbacks, it wasn't until his 30s that life took a positive turn. After relocating from Americus, Eric found the resources he needed to not only obtain his high school diploma but also acquire a driver's license, transition off disability, and establish a stable work routine, logging 40-50 hours per week. Additionally, he sought and received crucial counseling services, allowing him to rebuild connections with his children.
In 2019, Eric embarked on entrepreneurial ventures, launching his own cleaning service and joining forces with his wife in a custom design company. These enterprises not only showcase his resilience but also underscore his commitment to creating opportunities for himself and those around him.
Eric's deep-seated desire to give back to his community led to the establishment of Truth Family Center. Drawing from his own experiences, he envisions the center as a beacon of support, actively assisting disadvantaged individuals to access the resources they need for personal and professional growth. Eric envisions Truth Family Center as more than just another day center; it is a place that believes in the proactive empowerment of individuals, transforming them into contributing citizens within their communities.

There are about 3.5 million people that are homeless in the United States. The number is expected to keep rising, and there are not enough homeless shelters to help house these people. The population of the homeless, victims of substance abuse, domestic violence victims, military veterans, and previously incarcerated individuals has remained the same over the past five years. As a result of this, the demand for the services in this industry is still high. The United States still has a lot of need for the services for these individuals. Therefore, this will lead to further growth of the revenue in the industry.
Considering this case, the purpose of NRATCO is to develop a community and safe environment to evaluate the feasibility of the business, focused on the homeless, victims of substance abuse, domestic violence, and previously incarcerated individuals introduced back into society.
The NRATCO is committed to being a steward for the environment and engages in sustainable practices when it comes to maintenance, janitorial work, new construction, and renovations.
